waterMED (Bacteriostatic water For Injections) is a sterile solution designed solely to be used with drugs that require dilution or must be dissolved in an aqueous vehicle before injection. waterMED (Bacteriostatic water For Injections) is a highly purified, sterilized water containing 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol that is used to dilute or dissolve medications to the appropriate consistency for injection. Bacteriostatic water (BW) has a pH of about 5.7.
HOW TO USE:
This compound is indicated only for diluting or dissolving drugs for intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, according to instructions from the manufacturer of the drug to be administered.
